You are Enough
We share tools and resources to help you and your loved ones cope with mental health issues, specifically depression, social anxiety, bullying, and suicide.
If you are considering hurting yourself, please call or text 988 now.
This is the third year I’ve been living without my Kathy, and the grief feels different this time. I don’t know what future years will bring, but this year it has been mostly a quiet, deep ache, one that lingers and at times feels like it physically hurts my heart. I’ve had many trips to the doctor this year because of these chest pains, and while I’m grateful to know my heart is healthy... it remains painfully broken from missing her.
From the very first day we lost Kathy, I began documenting my grief, and I revisited those writings, reflecting on my relationship with loss. Out of that reflection, I’ve created a book of poems about grief, grieving, and my personal journey through it all. The book is in its final stages of preparation for publication, and I’ll share more details as the launch date approaches.
With that said, I would like to thank you all for your continued support and for walking alongside me on this journey of grief.
If you or someone you know is struggling, please call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Ask for Help!
Your mental health matters.....always.
It’s okay not to be okay, but you don’t have to carry the weight alone. Asking for help is not a weakness; it’s a brave and powerful step toward healing. Reach out to a friend, family member, or mental health professional. You deserve support, compassion, and understanding.

Stop Suicide
We can help stop suicide. It starts with learning the warning signs, listening without judgment, and showing up for the people in our lives who are struggling with their mental health. Sometimes, just knowing someone cares can make all the difference. We also need to break the stigma around mental illness. No one should ever feel afraid or ashamed to ask for help. Mental health is just as important as physical health, and seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Love is Love
Many people are struggling with their mental health, including those in the LGBTQ+ community. I previously shared that resources and support for LGBTQ+ individuals at the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline are being reduced or eliminated. This makes the work of organizations like @trevorproject more important than ever. They provide life-saving crisis support and advocacy for LGBTQ+ youth. Please consider visiting their page or website to make a donation, share resources, or get involved. Together, we can ensure no one in the LGBTQ+ community feels alone.

Talking About Suicide Can Save Lives
Silence can be dangerous, but open, honest conversations about suicide can bring hope, connection, and help. Asking someone if they’re okay, listening without judgment, and encouraging them to seek support can make all the difference. You don’t have to have all the answers; you just have to be there.

Kindness
Being kind to others is powerful. You never truly know what someone may be going through, especially when it comes to their mental health. A simple act of kindness can bring comfort and hope in ways we may never realize. Mark Twain once said that kindness is a language “the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” It speaks to the heart, crosses barriers, and can change a life. Choose kindness today; your words and actions might mean more than you’ll ever know. ❤️

This is Alberto … and this is his story
Thank you @Alberto Suarez for having the strength to make the right decision. You are an amazing person, and I wish only the best for you in this new journey. As for your voice note, it brought tears to my eyes and peace to my soul, knowing that the work I am doing on behalf of my Kathy is making a difference.
Thank you for staying!
A suicide prevention safety plan is a personalized, practical tool to help guide you through difficult moments. It provides clear steps you can follow to keep yourself safe when you're feeling overwhelmed, depressed, or having thoughts of suicide. Creating a step-by-step plan in advance can make a big difference. When a crisis hits, you will have a guide to help you focus, find support, and move toward safety one step at a time. Make sure your safety plan is easy to access when you need it most. Whether it's written down or saved on your phone, having it ready can be a powerful way to protect yourself in moments of distress.

Suicide Prevention is Everyday
As we come together to share our stories of loved ones we lost to suicide, we do so in the hopes of helping others through their darkest moments. The first part of this video is of Kathy’s dad walking in the Pyrenees to honor Kathy’s 27th birthday in 2024 and the second part is one of his life’s greatest moments in 2019 … their father-daughter dance. 💔
